I have the 5000 model and both wet and dry containers. I bought it at the State Fair of Dallas for full price 7 years ago.

I also have the 5000 and paid full price for both wet and dry containers at a State Fair, 7 years ago. (My warranty just expired).

You could contact the company and ask to purchase a reconditioned unit and pay much less. Every so often I get a flyer announcing that they have many of them for sale at a nice discounted price. You still get the full waranty, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one because they are such amazing machines.

(A few years ago I broke a part on mine and they sent the part out to me immediately free of charge, and it was my fault)

I think Alissa sells them here.

Also Costco or Sam's Club had them at one time. They may have been the cheaper models, the ones without the dial that adjusts from low speed to high.

The cheaper ones have the low/hi switch and nothing in between from what I recall so that is something to pay attention to when you are bargain shopping.

You can get an extended warranty to take you to 10 years for 75.00 I believe that is what I paid.

For the best deal, I bought mine on eBay.
