I wanted to let the mods & Alissa know that the search function isn't working properly. Whenever I try to search, I get the following error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/forum/search.php on line 993
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 40 bytes) in Unknown on line 0
The problem was mentioned briefly in another thread, so I know it's not on my end.

I just tried it and it's working. What it seems like is that there were possibly too many people using it at the same time or something. I know on another forum I am on, sometimes when we simply try to access the forum, we get a similar error message and then if you try again within a few minutes or so, it then works fine.
Alissa's web developer is going to be doing some upgrading of this forum soon, so all of that should be taken care of then.

Rawkinlocs, i have another little thing: when I do a advanced search,
sometimes I get the text " your words are to long/short/ or to common"
(for example when i search on "ph")
Is there a reason for this approach? Are short words not important?
Thanks, Lightlover

Yeah, you have to have over 2 or 3 letters in a word in order for the search to be valid. So, perhaps try "PH testing" or something like that rather than just "PH". This happened to me when I tried to search for "MS" while looking for previous discussions on raw food and MS...so I had to add a bit more to my search term and that worked fine.
