I don't do this normally now, but I used to be obsessed with watching the Food Network.
Anyway, Take Home Chef was just on (correction, this is on TLC). At the end he made a dessert for the husband and wife. Well, he put fresh peaches and fresh OJ into a skillet. I watched it bubble and reduce. I felt it's energy. It was SO weird. I felt this deep sadness for the living ...beings. It was ask if they were saying "nooo, don't let this happen. Save me!" I told my mom just the connection part and sadness, she responded withm, "ok, you've gone off the deep end!" I know this is just another level of raw, understanding, and connection with nature.
I just told my mom about them frying a zucchini flower...she said "ok tracey, don't watch any more cooking shows." haha
I know I'm not alone in this one haha!

I am hearing you. I have the same thought everytime my family boils corn or fries tomatoes. A BIG WHY, pops into my head. I now get very disturb when I see someone cooking an animal. It totally makes me sick. My dad was cooking burgers the other night and I literally got sick to my stomach. I stayed sick the rest of the night.

Seriously! I totally feel you on that. I am part of the earth now. Moreso than I've ever been. I have this amazing, natural, perfect, green energy inside me, just glowing out of every pore. It's intense. I love it. I could honestly be the happiest person alive just living in a giant tree and grazing in a fruit laden paradise. I wish I could. The vegetation really does want to be eaten raw and pure. It wants to go through our bodies unharmed/changed.
It is so nice to not have to stand in front of the hot stove stirring some goop that is slowly poisoning and robbing you of energy, vitality and life force.
Instead, just grab something raw out of the fridge, go outside and sit and feel the breeze, watch the busy bees gathering nectar and pollen from the flowers and feeling the warm sun on my skin.
Paradise is here.

:) I love some cooking shows and when they prepare things i'm always thinking how can i fix that raw.
When i see them frying up a dead body (chicken, pig, cow) i feel bad for what the poor animal had to go through to get to that point.
I'm glad to be where i am today and will not go back, it makes me sad to remember how i use to love everybite of the cooked for set before me, remember the starving children around the world speech. :)

When I see someone eating meat, I feel this deep... sickness rise up, not like nausea, but like when most people imagine cannibals. UGH!! And I try to forget I used to eat that junk.
I've now experienced what animal products does to the body. It's like... a deer chomping into it's buddy Bambi.
And when food cooks, I, too, feel like I can see the life source dying. It is more pronounced for me when I see tomatoes. It's a carcass you're eating, not the healthy vegetables your body craves. The only thing I can't feel this so much for is grain, maybe because I love bread, maybe because I don't collect grain myself (YET!! Mwa ha ha ha!!!).
Thanks for bringing this up. You certainly aren't alone :)
