Hi, I have a question about weight loss. I've been 100% raw for a whole week and was 75%-100% raw for 3 weeks before that and haven't lost any weight. I know it can take a while, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience if they already had a healthy diet and are only 5-15 lbs over their healthy weight. It seems to me that the more overweight you are and unhealthy your diet was before, the more you will lose at first... but shouldn't I be experiencing something at least proportional to my size and health? Like maybe a lb or two? Don't get me wrong, I feel great and have been eating so much better (and more) than when I was struggling with calories and I haven't gained anything, but it would be nice to lose. I am 5'2" and weight 135, but my goal is 120, which is a very good size for my height. Has anyone else who was already in good health and only a little overweight had this problem? I do know I need to get back into a regular exercise routine, that could make all the difference.

There are countless post on this subject. When you first go raw sometimes you have healing / detoxing to do before you may gain or lose. Also the futher someone is away from their "ideal" weight typically they lose faster. Try waiting on your body and enjoy the other benefits and all the delightful raw food.
