Shipping and handling GASP!!

I just ordered food from the Glacier Organic Farms website and it cost me over $44 just for UPS ground shipping *Gasp* seriousley, does that seem like a lot or is that average for buying this kind of stuff online?

If you're out of Florida, shipping is very high through them. I live an hour away from them and pay way less. I guess it depends on what you bought and whether or not you can find those items elsewhere. If you have a Whole Foods, they carry some of their items. Other places might too. You can ask them if there is somewhere close to you.

You can check shipping by going to UPS.com and putting in your zip, their zip, weight and size of the package.

Also, the reason shipping is high is because most items are perishable and they'll ship it overnight, as well as include ice which is extra.

And they will use any excuse to up it again. I am so blessed to find my items locally. There is always a better way...............

I was placing an order with them for delivery to Tampa and the shipping was ridiculous.
I sent them an email complaining about it and they reduced it by a huge amount.
Contact them before the order and ask. It works.

I only buy special food items through them that can't be found anywhere else. Otherwise, normal items I will get elsewhere.

Miss Marie, they must be sending it overnight because you have a couple of perishable items. Ground would take too long.

Since we ship items ourselves, occasionally there's a glitch in the system which we don't notice until someone says something. Maybe write/email/call them and ask them if the shipping was accurate ~ or, do as I said and check w/ UPS ~ THEN call/write/email.
