Okay, okay, I admit it, I'm not really new, but I wanted you to "meet and greet" a new thing we're doing -- Pailani and I have a Joint Journal. Now, before you get concerned, we're not doing anything illegal (bad pun, I know), "joint" means we're keeping our journal and our comment area together since we started the 30 -day raw challenge on the same day.
With what seems like everyone (!!) finishing their 30 days recently, I'm feeling all left out. Pout, pout, pout (not a pretty sight, I assure you). So ... I decided to "introduce" us all over again since this is a new thing.
Please visit us and lend us a hand to those of us who are a little stuck in the middle at the 2-week mark.
Thanks!

Double your power, double your fun, watch out world, Pailani and RawTruth are the Raw Dynamic Duo!!!! Good for you both, a fabulous idea, a built-in cheering buddy right in your journal. What worked for me (and this may not appeal to all...) is this: I marked the 30th day on my calendar and then put it out of my mind, stopped counting days completely. I just got into the flow of living it as a lifestyle (which might be a helpful mindset even if you ARE just exploring it for 30 days.) Anyway, good luck and keep in touch!

I noticed your common jounal pic. That was a great idea. Built in buddy system! I agree, it is so much easier when you have someone to lean on.
I wish you both a warm welcome, and sucess on the challenge!
Cassy:)

Thanks Melissa -- I like the mindset. It's all in the attitude, isn't it. Counting the days does feel a bit artificial, especially since I've made this a complete and total commitment, but I'm looking forward to the sense of accomplishment that comes with having persisted toward a goal.
G'night, sweet raw foodists!
I love the idea you are posting together and sharing the experience of your journey.. Raw Dynamic Duo!!!
I'll have to jump over and check out how your doing.
I'm not done with my 30 day challenge yet, I'm on day 19 today.. so I'm right there with you, counting down the days.

Hey - that is a wonderful Idea!
I love the buddy system. Carmel and I check in every single morning and night. I consider her my sister at this point. I would NOT have made it through some of those days without her...so hang on to her tight when you need to. You can do the same for her too - it's so rewarding!

Two is always stronger than one! If it's working, then keep it up! Two week mark, yup, I'm smack dab in the middle too. I'll be right there at the finish line about the same time as both of you. : ) We can do this!

Walkin on Water, maybe we should have made it a threesome! :D
The encouragement of the boards is great, but there's nothing like having a buddy who's at the same point you are and can commisserate with you!

Wow, what an amazing idea - I love it! :) I can't think of anything better than having a friend to do this with, and share journals with. Raw Truth and Pailani - I'm wishing you the best of luck on your journey together and I will be sure to check out your journals.
I really love what you said Melissa, about marking the day on your calendar and then letting go of counting. I think this would really benefit me, too.
Claudia :)
