I live in a pretty rural area...we're growing, but the closest Wild Oats is 20 minutes away.
Anyway, I have never been able to find raw almond butter or Lara Bars anywhere BUT Wild Oats............until today!!!!
Kroger sells Lara Bars for $1.00 each! That beats Wild Oats by a HUGE margin! And raw almond butter was $12. We have a Publix across the street from Kroger so whatever produce I can't get at Kroger I can usually get at Publix! Now, if I can get them to carry young coconuts and agave nectar I would never need to leave my little town!!!!

The publix here carries Raw Tahinni and they also have a large variety of oils. Thats funny that you have to travel 20 minutes to a wild oats, heck I wave to travel 25 minutes to get to a Kroger or a Publix and they are both in opposite directions. We have know Wild Oats anywhere near here. My area is growing and I suspect things will get here someday.

Raeanna,

20 minutes to get to Wild Oats???? Hmmmm, I think you need to let your foot off the gas a little :p

I also noticed that Kroger carries the Think Organic Bars too. I've found I can find almost everything in Krogers and Publix too, except GreenLeaf Lettuce that is organic and not bagged. I've also have been meaning to talk to Publix about their organic produce. They package everything. So if you want 1 avocado, you can't get it. You have to get a bag of 6. I wish they had their fruits out in the open so you could pick it up and select the ones you want and only get the number you want. But even with that, it has been nice to get a lot of my organic produce from the stores, only 4 and 5 miles from my house, plus at a lower cost, than running the 25 minutes up to Wild Oats (I do the speed limint :D )

BTW, if you didn't know Raeanna, Krogers is building another store on Port Royal, just 1 1/2 miles to 2 miles from us :D

It only takes me 20 because I hop on Saturn Pkwy behind my house!!! :) I drive the speed limit!!! LOL! I'll have to time myself next time!!!

I didn't know the think organic bars were raw! Cool!!
I hope the new krogers will carry more organic produce!!! I think it will be a year or two before they open though.

Hi Raeanna,

Yes, the Think Organic Bars are all Raw and Organic. The only part this isn't, from what I've read on this board is that the coco/chocolate is processed with some heat. Someone on the board said that they called the company and they did tell them that.

On the back of my Chocoloate Coconut bar it says for the ingredients:

Raw & Organic Dates
Raw & Orangic Cashews
Raw & Organic Slmaonds
Raw & Organic Coconut
Raw & Organic Cocoa
