Weight loss surgery and raw food??

I am curious if anyone has had gastric bypass or the lap band surgery and is a raw foodist?

My mom has had a gastric bypass and she will be taking the Raw challenge in mid-September.

Hello,
I had gastric bypass surgery in 2005. I am transitioning into raw. I have been a vegetarian for the last 8 months and vegan the last 3. I am going to go raw more gradually because I still have some issues I'm working on and I feel if I just eat lots of fruit and veggies. I am off to a good start. My issues I'm working on are coffee and bread.

there are women on there who have lost the same amount of weight as they would on GP just by doing the low fat raw/exercise route.
