Any cracker, bread, tortilla etc. recipes that you just love? I just got a dehydrator and want to experiment. Thanks!
If you have Alissa's book I make the crust for the calzone and spread it really thin so it makes nice crispy crackers. I change the seasoning depending on the flavor I want. They come out similar to wheat thins. Also her corn tortillas and enchilada recipe are very good.

What if one doesn't have Alyssa's book and does not order off the internet? *sniffs*

Well, here are a few options:
1. Alissa does accept orders via phone...maybe even mail order, but you can call the number found here: http://alissacohen.com/contact.html to find out for sure what your payment options are aside from online ordering
2. Check your local library as someone may have donated a copy there
3. Alissa's website does list some of her recipes at: http://alissacohen.com/recipes.html
4. Some of Alissa's recipes are also found at: http://gliving.tv/greenchefs (click on "Entrees") and the calzone is one of the recipes listed, so you're in luck to try JEN's suggestion!
5. Other raw books that you may have or can get access to should have some cracker, bread, etc. recipes
6. And finally, there are TONS of free recipes on the 'net at sites such as this one in our recipe section, http://fromsadtoraw.com, http://living-foods.com and a whole host of others.
So, don't despair...you have many options to choose from! :)

Alissa's book is a must. I love dehydrated apples. They are a yummy snack! Just slice and dehydrate.

My three successes so far have been the onion bread (recipe is posted here, do a search for it), nacho cheese and Swiss cheese. I fully dehdrated the Swiss into slices and ate it on the onion bread with lettuce and tomato. I partially dehydrated the Nacho cheese so it was more like a thick spread and stuffed it into baby bell peppers and pieces of celery.

Pick up a copy of Raw Food Real World and make the granola... it's AMAZING. My second batch is in the dehydrator right now.

I have Raw Food Real World on my list of books to order from Amazon. I think I will dehydrate some apples (that sounds delicious) and flax crackers! Hopefully my husband and daughter likes them - I'm doing a cleanse right now so I won't even be able to try them :(....
