Hi, I'm having a hard time picking from these two (turbo jam & core rhythms)! I was wanting advice and I thought there might be some of you that have already tried them out! I'm having a hard time picking because for one thing I want the exercise program to me fun, they both seem that way. It's normally different after you order them then try them out! The're normally not as fun as they sounded on tv!
Anyways I like what comes with the turbo jam, but the core rhythms don't give you as much as the turbo jam and the're only two ways you can order it! You order the package with a club membership for $69.00 or you order the package for $14.95 for one month and if you keep it they charge you another $14.95 and after that month they charge you another $19.95 per month on other core rhythms dvds. I wouldn't be against the last one if I haven't had problems with things like that in the past! I would like it because I like having alot of differnet exercise dvd's that I like doing, but when they say you can cancel any time! I've ordered things like that before and when I canceled it, they still kept charging my card! Now I like turbo jams high beat(that high beat gets me moving), is sounds like alot of fun, but I'm trying to get my energy back up and I'm afraid it might burn too much for me where my energy will drop again! I need to get back to my aerobics though!
So can anyone give me any advice! I would sure help me and maybe give me some more faith! Sorry so long, I just wanted to explain everything! Anyways thanks in advance! Have a fruitful day!

I personally wasn't impressed with Turbo Jam. The infomercial is more fun than the actual program you get. But it isn't bad either. Core Rhythms just seems more interesting to me. Also like how they give you a more realistic idea of what it will be like to use it. I'm more dance oriented than aerobics so anything that incorporates dance moves, I like.

As for the charges, you should be able to dispute anything with your credit card company if necessary. There is a lot of problems with the Turbo Jam company (Beach Body) as well. So try to pick the one that is the lowest cost, without constantly getting charged. Or buy off of ebay.

Just thought that I'd let you know that if you're interested in workout DVD's, there's a great forum at http://forum.videofitness.com/ and they'll be able to answer any questions (and tell you all about the DVD's).

From what I can gather, a lot of people have bad customer service experience with Beachbody, so you might want to consider checking out eBay rather than ordering direct.

My experience with BeachBody's products was so-so...One workout I liked o.k. (Power90) and the other I detested (Slimin6) as in I had to make myself do every single movement. However, I do LOVE (and consequently do on a regular basis) the FIRM workouts. If you are unfamiliar with them, they are a mix of cardio and strength training and I do see good results with them. I buy the products from QVC.com that way if I don't like them I have 30 days to return without any worries.

Oh and my other comment with BeachBody is that their customer service is a grab bag. I too dealt with the mess of being charged for product I had cancelled.

Thanks everyone for your advice! EastCoastie, thanks for those other ideas! I do have the firm transformer and it is good, but it is too strong of an exercise for me to do right now! Thats why I'm looking for something with just cardio and fun like something with some dancing in it! Something that will burn calories and tone the body, but also not where it will make me so weak that I'll want to sit down all day and not move a muscle! That's what cardio with weights does to me! Anyway thanks everyone for your advice! I'll try that video fitness site out! Thanks again!

I LOVE TurboJam. Can't compare with any of the others. If you'll email me, I'll tell you my experience w/ Beachbody.

Hmmmm

Exercise outside while the weather is still warm. Go to the library and look for the videos, it's free, or check your local video store so you can try before you buy. Also check freecycle.com you'd be surprised at what's out there.

I went to http://forum.videofitness.com and of course there was some that didn't care for turbo jam because they didn't care for the dancing, but that's what I want! Now on the core rhythms I heard alot of bad things with the company! I heard alot of scams about it so I decided to order the turbo jam because it seemed like alot of people got what they wanted when they ordered it! It sounds like the closest I'll get to what I want, plus it helps burn more calories so on days I don't have alot of time to exercise I can just do a 20 min. exercise video and still get a good workout! Thanks everyone with your help! Have a great raw day!

Very little dancing in Turbo Jam. But you can probably get a good workout.

You might want to try Yoga Booty Ballet, they fit the bill for what you are looking for. I adore them, they are always a pick me up. The live set is great! You can get used ones pretty cheap on ebay.
