Just wandering what are some of the gift's, that you all reward yourelves as you attain certain RAWgoals?

The achievement is reward enough. The problem is that as soon as I achieve it I just set higher goals so I never get there.

A friend and I want to both lose 50 pounds by Feb 1, 2007. Our reward: Were heading to Las Vegas for a 3 day weekend.

I'm a girl, so I reward myself with girl things. Like jewelry, perfume, clothes. I have started to try different hobbies (beading, painting) and the supplies are my reward.

Not really sure what guys would do. My husband would add to his golf bag or remodel a room or something!!

Today I went and got my hair styled. What a treat.

My favorite gifts are: Watermelons and donut peaches, yummy!

The other day I ran into a worker in my building that I haven't seen in almost two months.

He says mid-way into our chit chat, "BTW, are you doing something special? You look really amazing! Super skinny since the last time I saw you!!!!"

That's all the special treats I need :cool:

However, I've become especially fond of these tiny, organic, champagne grapes from the Three Sisters vinyard. Sweet little drops of heaven! :p

I think that is my problem this time around..............I look at RAW like I ought to receive rewards when like SPORT said, the RAW is the achievement itself! that's powerful and for some reason, this slip has really altered my mind,cognitive ability and rationale..................eek! I'm mental :rolleyes:

My rewards are toys, I just love castles and knights and priates, so my hubby buys me new pieces everytime I hit a goal or just because he feels I have done well, and clothes.

Rewards? Goals? Uhm... I think I reap a lot of rewards in itself when I eat raw! In general I see the raw living style as one big treat! When I slip up, I am immediately reminded why it was that I choose to eat this way... So when that happens, I reward myself by petting myself on the back and looking at what I have achieved thusfar, instead of beating myself up. It's a wonderful feeling! Yeah, come to think of it, eating raw Ã*s the gift to myself.

oh, I've been thinking about this lately too. I decided to reward myself with raw tools and books. For my thirty day 100% raw goal, I'm getting a saladacco and a raw book written by Gabrielle Chavez. It's in the mail right now....:)

Hmm, maybe I could think of some rewards too. As for now, I can't come up with any! I just want to be raw... What would be nice to give myself... Have everything I want right now... Would be fun though.

Other than the obivious health improvements that come from eating raw, I was sorta bored with it. So I decided to reward myself with things, just like what you do when you achieve any other goals that you set.
When I acomplished my last 5- 7 day juice fast, I rewarded myself with a kayak trip. I felt great.
Maybe some of you don't need rewards - good for you. But like if I feel the need for a sad food item, I'll shoot for a weekly goal of purging out that desire and then do something or go somewhere as a reward.

Guys can be artistic as well - Sculpting,painting,wood craftsman, etc, - all which means more power tools and stuff. O sports stuff or hobbies etc.... = check out what DavidZaneMason does.

Okay, i have to admit, when I was 100% raw for 6 months, my shopping frenzy got outta control.........I mean about a thousand dollars every month on clothes is not a good thing. This time around, I'm going to reward myself with LOVE LOVE LOVE.....................hey, isnt' that a SHIVA thingy Path? :D :p
