I have a headache today, nothing super bad, but I am curious if this is the beginning of my detox. Today was a super successful day. Raw day #2 for me. I have eaten plenty of food with no non-raw food whatsoever and I am VERY FULL, but I have a headache. Is this too soon for detox? Is it just a coincidence? BTW, I have had the hiccups off and on all day today too...is this a coincidence?

Did you give up coffee as well. Some people detox very quickly if they give up coffee.

It isn't strange at all. I had a little headache the first couple of days and other symptoms (like a coated tongue and fatigue). These are the same symptoms I also got in the past the times I started a fast. So yes, it is a detox symptom, and no, it is not too soon, it is actually quite common.
About the hiccups I don't know, could very well be just hiccups. Tension or excitement (about the whole raw thing perhaps ;)) can influence the diaphragm (what a word!!!) and breathing profoundly and cause hiccups.

I dont drink coffee, so I am guessing it is detox or just cooked-food withdrawls or something. :) But I dont have much of a headache this morning...just a small one. thanks again for your help. :)

yep, i don't drink coffee either, and on about day 5, i had a killer headache that lasted about 24 hours. It DID go away, on its own, without meds, though. :)

Yup, normal - for many days too. Drink lots of water and rest as much as you can! Well done. :p

Also since you've just started doing weight lifting your muscles may be retaining water from the new exercise. I have that problem when I start something new.
