Many people post what they have eaten each day in their journals... I just started doing this (I'm on Day 3) and a lot of people link to their journal in the signature of their posts.

There are also a couple different threads, maybe the 30 Day Challenge forum area is where I saw it..yeah.. Check out this thread for starters... You might have to scroll through a page or two to get the goods ;)

Hope that helps! :D

This is what I had yesterday, for example:

9 am - smoothie: ~2 cups organic black grapes and 1.5 cups blueberries, with cold ginseng tea

snack - 1/2 Lara Maya cocoa-mint bar

12:30 pm - Blended Salad (1/2 cucumber, 1/2 bell pepper, 1 tomato, 1/2 avocado, 1 bunch cilantro, some escarole leaves, lime juice, dollop 'nacho cheese')

1:45pm - Still hungry. Flax crackers with lots of nacho cheese, thick like a dip.

Snacking - Feeling CONSTANTLY hungry. Ate a handful of unsoaked almonds.

Dinner - 7pm BIG salad again, grated carrot, tomato, ground seeds, mixed greens, mustard/evoo dressing...and...

"Cheese burger" between nori sheets, with nacho cheese, and sunflower seed 'refried bean' stuff which morphed into a burger taste, tomato slice and pea shoots. Why oh why didn't I take a foto?!

Evening snack - Cookies! (cashew-coconut-carob)

Okay....here's what my M-F days look like:

Meal 1, 6:00 am on weight workout days: 1 banana whipped up with water
Meal 2, 8:00 am (after workout) Smoothie w/ 1 banana, 2T dried coconut, 1 apple, small handful almonds, maca, 2 dates--very rich and dense, sticks with me a long long time.
Meal 3: around 1:00 small salad w/ 1 red pepper, 1/2 cucumber, misc veggies, 5-10 kalamata olives w/ dressing made from tahini and nama shoyu
meal 4: 5:00pm couple peices of dried eggplant, or onion-flax cracker, or apple(usually I'm still at work)
meal 5: 7:00 pm, salad again like for lunch, either big or small depending on hunger level. If I feel like something sweet after the salad I'll have a raw brownie or some raw ice cream.

Usually on the weekend I eat a little more, or try a unique recipe, but during the week I eat very simply. I let myself eat whatever I want...but this routine seems to be what my body wants right now, I feel completely satisfied, no ED issues at all, no cravings. I was at a meeting tonight where chocolate was being passed around the table over and over again....didn't even phase me. I have a huge homemade bar of chocolate in my fridge (raw of course) that's been there forever...if I wanted chocolate I knew I had my own at home.

Good luck! There's no "wrong" way when you're getting started. Just try things and listen to your body. My body responds really fast when I do the right things.

I cannot keep a record, rather I choose not to keep a record. I consider myself free and no more under the law of dieting, I just stay RAW. This is my statement and I commend you if you can handle the paperwork.

In general, I eat about 5 times a day. Usually one or two of those meals is a salad, soup or sushi, just something with vegetables/greens. I sometimes use some avocado, olive oil or some seeds or nuts in there. The other three or four times it is either fruit by itself, fruit with some almonds/honey or with a mix of ground almonds/date/lemon zest, or fruit in a smoothie (sometimes with hempseed, like banana/orange/apricot/hempseed or banana/strawberry/hempseed and sometimes with parsley, like mango/parlsey, a so called 'green smoothie'). In between I drink some bottled spring water.
I actually eat quite simple, no complicated meals, no dehydrating. Organic when possible and also a lot of fruits that are in season.

My actual food choices depend on what is available Organic and in season. I eat almost all organic.

In AM I have lemon in water, warm yerba mate tea
1/4 of fruit, banana preferred
work out, skin brush when I have my shower
then I eat any in season organic fruit till mid afternoon
if I have lunch: salad or green drink or more fruit
snack is green drink or tomato, cucumber, peppers, carrots
dinner: big salad
if hungry before bed I have apple or something that digests fast

add on's to diet is pumpkin seeds, almonds, and flax crackers
on occassion I make raw brownies.

My "typical" day would be...

Green juice-sample would be kale, cucumber, beets, carrots, lemon, ginger, apple, celery, spinach

Green smoothie-bananas, berries, lots of greens, a date or two

Large salad-mix of greens and variety of veggies with a raw dressing

Desserts-brownies or banana ice cream

These are the things I have most everyday, throw in a few main dishes and pates from time to time and that is about it!

I really don't have a set meal plan. I like to have some variety in my diet. Eating the same thing over and over again would bore me:eek:.

Since I am in college I have strange eating habits and not completely raw. But a raw day for me will be. 3-5 bananas in the morning, Lara bar or two for a snack. Cherries, apples, whatever fruit I have in my fridge as snacking through out the day. Avocado and cherry tomatoes with vinegar for lunch. And dinner usually a large salad from the dining hall salad bar with any raw veggies they have on it. And their rasberry vinegarette, which I know is not raw. But any dressing. I'll also munch on some of my raw foods, like crackers or such.

I don't think there is any right or wrong ways. I post what I eat daily on this thread and so do others. Take a look for inspiration or ideas, but do what feels good to you.

Dinner is the only thing really different we only eat soup or smoothies and maybe a little cheese and crackers with it.

The reason I work till 930pm on these days and after we eat we usually are excercising and going to bed.
