What raw foods (or supplements) should I add to decrease the creaking of my knees? They crackle pretty badly going up and down stairs, such that I can feel it all the way up in my neck. They don't hurt, but they are quite audible (well, technically they hurt on switchback hiking with backpack, but that's my own fault for packing too much).

MSM 1000 mg 2-3 times a day

I think raw alone would get the creaks out.

Thanks for the responses!

I actually did 30 days all raw, and have dropped back to 1 cooked meal per week (not to be confused with 1 huge, indulging binge, but rather, 1 small, sensible, if-it-aint-perfectly-wonderful-I-aint-eating-it, type thing), so have had another 30 days high-raw. My knees are generally worse this week (lots of stairs).

Apparently, MSM turns up naturally in raw fruits and vegies. I'll have to add some celery too.

Actually it is not so much what you eat but what you don't eat. Avoiding all animal products and cooked foods are going to help your body heal itself.

The body will heal on its own when given the proper conditions.

Yup, couldn't have said it better myself.

Flax does the trick for me as well.
2 spoonfulls of ground flax seeds in a glass of water with half a teaspoonfull of MSM per day and I am good to go.
