I get high from eating certain stuff sometimes, i noticed a pattern, that today I got high again, and I think it might be from the lemon juice that I put in my foods.
Also, I get high from eating papa-john's pizza and eating tostitos with nacho cheese, I've concluded that it's from the MSG and probably other stuff in it, so i've cut that out, so now i'm basically 95% to 110% raw-vegan now.

Since going raw six weeks ago, I feel "high" most of the time. It's a good, clean high...

When I first became raw-vegan I was like that too. (7-10 months ago)

I'm missing out on all the good stuff, even though I'm 100%. :(

I get good vibes after eating lots of mangoes. I think that might be my little "high" there.
I'm glad you're feeling the difference, and rawk on :)

lemon juice energizes me. i drink lemon-ginger-ice slurpies in the morning instead of coffee :)
You mean high as in floaty and not really grounded?
I had that when I just started eating raw. First I thought it had to do with the amount of fruit, I've noticed that I didn't feel ok if I only ate fruit all day, which I did some days. Someone on this board once said: 'When I eat too much fruit I'm in lalala land all the time' (some people believe fruit makes you all high, light and airy and nuts, seeds and greens ground you). However, nowadays I feel much more compact and grounded, I think my body has adjusted to this way of eating. I still eat a lot of fruit, but also other things. I feel better and happier in general, but that high feeling? Not really. I use lemon juice and lemon peel sometimes, but can't say it gives me a special feeling.

if ya put a lemon under sp? korelian photography it has one of the strongest life forces of any fruit.
I go on lemon sea salt cayanne binges, where Ill stand over my sink cut 10 lemons in quartes salt and cayanne them and suck the juice from each onee like a drug addict.
not sure if thats good but ive done it almost everytime i buy large quanities of lemons for dressings.
i can do the same with great oranges just no salt and cayanne.

You put half a peeled lemon, a knob of ginger (peeled if you don't want little bits of ginger skin- i don't mind them), and a handful of ice cubes in the blender or food processor (i use a baby food processor) with the sweetener of your choice. i use raw honey but i know a lot of people here are strict vegans so they will probably want to use agave. Whiz it up and you're done :)

I don'g know what level of "high" you're referring to, but whenever I ate wheat/dairy/ and most everything cooked it numbed my feelings and made me happy without a care in the world. Then I crashed. I think foods with addicting properties do that, hence the addiction to feel that "high" again.
As for raw foods getting you "high" to me it's a different type. I think it depends on how SAD you were before you went raw and how simple raw you are now. The only time I still get that raw "high" is if I eat mono meals of fruits.
As for the pesticides, it could be doing that. I know when I consume non organic foods I get depressed and feel "blah" and heavy. Ha, now if i look at non-organic produce I feel the effects! Each person can react differntly though.

I battle with a light-headedness and weakness as if my body is having difficulty adapting to raw. This feeling is a negative high and feels like I am starving myself - and this is what tempts me to slip something SAD in. I have read that my body will make protein out of the raw things I eat but am concerned about losing muscle instead of fat. I have only experienced to good raw high once and although I have achieved benefit I have never been able to get back to that good high yet. Is the negative high that I mention similar to what you are experiencing?
