at WFM, in bulk (that's all they have) - they have white-ish markings on the outside. I've eaten raw pumpkin seeds for years, but I don't recall if this is how they are supposed to look... that is, greenish with white marks. Does anyone know if this means they are rancid/moldy? Ugh! :o

I am looking at my bag of pumpkin seeds. I see one or two with whitish markings. The rest have none. I've also gotten a few spoiled seeds in this bag. Yuck!

thanks juliebove.
yes, the few random really spoiled are ease to see and remove... but I think the white-ish might be their normal color because its on most of the batch and I bought 2 or 3 cups - on two different ocassions??? hmmm... thanks for checking :p
