You can get raw olives from NFL or from Alissa. I think that if the olive has been cooked the pit splits.

I have bought olives that are raw from Natures First Law
they taste horrible, I either give op olives or get the closet thing I can find and have olives be the 1 to 5% not raw things I eat rarely. Others probably being maple syrup, nama shoyu, probably nori (i buy dried but doesnt say what heat. From a korean store 50 sheets is 6 bucks not just 10 sheets.
and I love olives................olive cashew tapenades rock, but the ones I have had raw were just terrible and like 14.00 a jar too.
trader joes has a canned olive that is tree ripened, im sure its cooked though,
i have had those a few time, they are delicious
there is also the santa barbara olive co. call them and ask there processing
thats all I can say about olives

I use olives from the whole foods olive bar. They don't taste cooked to me (I don't get a "cooked" reaction after eating them either)0 but they are pretty salty, so you may have to soak. They are little black shriveled up ones that are salted and seasoned with provencial herbs.
I've also tried NFL olives and find them extremely bitter.
I don't eat olives like I used to, and don't prefer canned olives like I used to, so don't worry, your taste buds will change over time and soon you won't find yourself craving them.

What kind? I've tried Botilla and Greek and like them both.
There seems to be confusion about what is a raw olive state. Have marinated olives been heated at all in a jar or from the deli?
I'm in the UK so some of the above suppliers aren't local. :o

I've tried olives from farmer's market(raw), www.sunorganic.com (raw) and Wholefoods(cooked), and they all tasted too salty for me. Yesterday, I had some raw, unsalted, dried olives from www.naturalzing.com, and it was the best thing I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, I had too much (20) because it was just too good.

I think the nature's first law olives are delicious. I must admit that it takes some time getting use to the strong flavors at first, but soon that goes away and the cravings begin.
The spicy olives are my favorite. I see that they are out of stock on those now....probably because I ordered 20 bags. (they last a long time)

I just checked for you, and although the website doesn't say specifically whether or not the company accepts international orders, I think it does.
