Okay - so... I think I just need to make some new friends in the raw food world ebcause everyone i know thinks i'm crazy for doing this. I started eating 100% raw (after years of different diets and routines - my mother owns a wellness center, so i've tried just about every integrated-holistic-naturalist method out there) - so yeah, i started eating 100% raw about one month ago. I think I went through detox in the beginning - but it is starting to feel like i'm having a resurgence. Headaches, bloated, skin problems, light headedness.....on top of this, there's the weight problem.
I am very very overweight. Three years ago, I was even more overweight...but I managed to kick 60 pounds - then...it stopped. For the last year or so - I have gained a couple pounds, regardless of excersize and diet -to be a healthy weight (for the first time in my life - yes, i was the fat girl in high school) i need to lose 60 more pounds for my height (5'10).
In the last month- i havent' dropped even one. I'm frustrated - losing hope - and though i'm really enjoying the challenge of going raw... I just need a little pep talk ....someone who has been there and can offer some sort of advice.
Thanks guys.
Pierre

From my experience, it's normal to go a month without losing, and then start losing again. Here are my weight figures:
2006-06-03 81.0 (before raw)
2006-07-02 77.8
2006-08-02 77.5
2006-08-23 73.9
I'm 1.51 m tall.

You're doing great so far. During detox your body wants to focus and cleanse on healing other areas internally instead of focusing on the weight. Give it time and be patient and your body will release the excess toxins stored in the fat and it'll melt right off.

your not crazy
its crazy to accept, ill health, obesity, disease, medications, side effects, surgeries, painful early death as a script for life.
I still have 80 to lose lost 30 in 34 days so far and that wasnt 100% raw Im going 100% after I finish a fast.
lower the nuts and fats for a month go to way more greens, see if that kicks starts the weight loss
be strong, youll love it.

Wouldn't you think it is more logical and reasonable if one person did a conversion for 3000 + people instead of 3000 + people doing it for one person?

Hehe Sharon I am a TOTAL Metric Loser, so I agree with you :)
Give us a hand Pierre!! At least give us a conversion site in your signature so we dont have to hop out and get it every time :D
Back in the mid 70's they tried to introduce metric into the USA school system where I lived and it was a total failure.
I know that a system based off 10 should be easier but you know when you know one way all your life it is tough to change :)

Yes, I agree, at least if you are unable to do the conversion put the link in your siggy so that the curious can skip over there in a pinch. Good answer.

2006-07-02 77.8 --- 171.5 pounds
2006-08-02 77.5 --- 170.75 pounds
