I have soaked wild rice (it is a seed not a grain) and I was rather unimpressed.

I have made the cauliflower stuff and it is pretty good.

I love my Sweet Potato Curry :) Recipe to follow

I really feel supported by all of your responses...I will try the cauliflower recipe. By the way, I just put 3 kiwis, an orange, a banana, and a hand full of baby spinach in the blender with some oat milk (which I got from Trader Joes today...it is commercially made, but I am not at the point where I have tried to make milk at home yet)...boy, it sure was green and I made my three little girls taste it...guess what??? They LOVED it!!! They are the pickiest kid on the face of the earth! Naturally, I loved it too, but I am not as picky. :)

Potatoes - Alissa has a recipe for Baby Raw's sea salt and vinegar chips and rice, the only "raw" way is sprouting wild rice. They are both usually cooked.

It has been suggested that if a food needs to be cooked in order to make it edible then that is natures way of telling you that it was not meant for our consumption as nature never intended our bodies to eat cooked foods.
