Howdy everyone! Just thought I would post and let ya know I made it 4 months 100% raw. The longest I have ever been 100% raw was 4 1/2 months so I have almost reached that goal and plan on surpassing it by leaps and bounds.
I have had alot of results so far and believe it or not I am still experiencing alot of detox. But I'm loving every minute of it. I will do my best to list my results here:
Improvements:
Clearer thinking
weight loss
More energy (just happen last week)
Increased thinking ability, able to reason better
more understanding
I'm just not moody anymore (even during my time of the month)
The lines under my eyes are gone
nails are no longer paper thin and they are no longer spliting and peeling off
acne is clearing up
no more neck or back pain
no more migraines
no more food allergies
no more mold allergies
no more pollen allergies
no more chemical allergies
no more passing out
less cravings
eating less
happy
happy with myself
making more money because I feel better
having better relationships with family and friends and coworkers
Don't worry much anymore
Feeling alot less lighter and free
Less stressful
able to exercise and enjoy it
getting complimented and getting whistles and double looks
Getting respected by others, because I am respecting myself
Overall feeling off well being
Closer bond with my creator
I am sure there are more....but I can't think of anymore!
Still working on:
Severe Uteras pain
TMJ-lock jaw
I want even more energy...hehe! :D
Still have some more pounds to lose...but I'm content!
Next weigh day is 8/24/06...stay tuned!
Thank you so much everyone for your loving support on my journey!
Much raw love,

Thanks Coriandor, me too! I was sharing my latest batch of spicy flax seed crackers with everyone at work to today and one of my co-workers came in my office and said "Now how much weight have you lossed now?" I said over 30 pounds....hmm...and you eat stuff like this? and I said yes! He said I want the recipe. So I gave it to him. He sounded excited about making them.

Hi Lay Lay,
I'm looking for a good cracker reciepe to make for my trip to a raw retreat next week. Can I get your cracker reciepe from you?
I tried one type from my raw instructor but it was gross... so I'd like to try yours if you don't mind.
Thanks so much!

This is so so INSPIRING........your list of improvements and changes ILRF is compelling! Congratulations on all your hard work......out of curiousity, I know you are still healing from the TMJ, has that improved at any rate? MY sis has it and I hope to tell her that others have been relieved thru raw.
Your awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lay-Lay,
I always take note when someone says they no longer have neck pain or headaches. These are still 2 areas in my health that I'm working on. I just read that Raw Princess doesn't have them any more. The key is that both of you have been 100% raw for over 100 days.
Although I have come a long ways, I still am plagued by the neck pain and headache (yes I see a chiropractor). But I'm eating high raw with a few days, here and there, all raw. I have to make that finale leap to ALL raw . . . then like you and RP I will be able to post here that I am neck pain free and headache pain free.
Just reading how others have ovecome these 2 particular problems just encouranges me to continue on my journey to all raw.
Thanks so much for sharing and CONGRATULATIONS of the progress you have achieve already!!!!!
P.S. - this board is so large, that I just recently ran across your posts and I see you have posted more posts than I have ;)

Helen, I had neck pain that was so severe that it hurt to drive because I'd have to turn my head to merge into traffic. It went away over a year, and I wasn't even totally raw for that year. I started totally raw for two months, then slipped up for 16 months. For a long time, it was really better and I could only feel a trace of it when my turned my head as far as I could. I just tested it now while typing this, and there's not even a trace of the pain left at all. The last trace must have gone away during this three months that I've been 100 percent raw.
I started getting monthly migraines a few months agao - while I was high raw. Now, at 100 percent, they've pretty much disappeared in three months.
Yet I get discouraged because I don't have the energy I want.
Lay-lay, your progress is such an inspiration - I can't wait for weigh day, and for someupdated before and after pictures! I notice that you also mentioned wanting more energy, so maybe it just takes longer and I need to be more patient!

Hi Pailani,
I'm always excited when I read about people who are now pain free (in their necks and heads)!!!! I know I can reach this goal like you have and I can really tell a difference when I'm all raw compared to high raw. It DOES make a difference.
And for those, who probably thought like I use to . . . I thought my pain was different as I have degenerated discs in my neck, causing pain and I also have hypothyroidism, which cases pain in the neck. But when I'm extremely high raw or all raw, I can feel a big difference!!!! Raw seems to work on many different aliments of the neck and head.
I know the answer - EAT RAW!!!!

Soak 2 cups Flaxseeds in 2 cups water overnight. Then put a 1/2 jalepeno, 1 clove garlic, a little salt, and a tomato if desired along with the flaxseeds in the food processor and pulse for a bit and then spread thin on dehydrator sheet and dehydrate for a day or 2.

JennaBoBenna -Thanks!
rawpriestess- awwww, thanks!
misslinda- actually for a few weeks it went completely away, but it came back. I really think it is doing a healing right now. I will post if I see any improvements with it.
Helen Of Tennessee- Yes I think 100% is key. I have been doing raw for over 3 years, but going raw 100% made ALL the difference. I have/had hypothyroid. I am off my meds and am having great morning tempetures. I was in a bad car accident years ago and have had back and neck pain ever since. I used to go to the chiropractor 2-3 times a week until my wallet started getting slim, but no need to go now. It is awesome!
raeannasun - thanks I am going to get my hubby to take some this weekend!
Pailani - Thank you, I will get those pics up soon. I usually have energy when I am not experiencing a detox, but when I am my energy is lower then desired.

Lay Lay,
That is sooooo inspirational!!
I have not been committed at ALL, and have probably gained weight!!! Frustrating to see where I could be if I had just been focused and disciplined.... Kept my eyes on the prize so to speak.
You ROCK!!!
