Dry lips?

I wondered does anyone know what a cause of dry lips could be apart from dehydration?. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Maybe not enough essential fatty acids, eat more nuts, avocados, olive oil.

Could be dehydration, could be this weird weather everyone's seeming to have...

I use a tiny bit of coconut oil on my lips. Tastes good and makes them feel great!

Thanks guys for all your suggestions,

freespirit it could be not enought EFA's I have started adding a few more nuts back into my diet to see if my body is better able to handle them.

Coriander74 not sure if it could be the weather but might play a factor but never really have had this problem before except when I was on the SAD nad I would think then it was dehydration as I wasn't drinking enough water way back when.

Path thanks for your idea too but as much as I love the sun I haven't had chance to be out in it much in the past week so can't be sun burn.
