I had a migraine last Friday a week ago and have since had a headache on and off mostly on. When I lie down my heart beats so hard it shakes my whole body. I hope this is just detox 'cause it's getting old. Went most of my life with very few headaches and I don't have much tolerance left here. Any suggestions anybody? I am probably low on magnesium with the heartbeat thing because I used to be hyperthyroid and chose to treat it naturally which means I can get relapses but that should only happen when I am under stress. I suppose detoxing could constitute stress. If anybody has any info or advice I need it here. Thanks!

Hi, I'm sorry your detox is troubling you. Detox is never fun.
My advice is to not stress and let it pass. A week is really not that long to be experiencing heavy detox symptoms.
Trust raw, trust your body. I highly doubt that you're deficient in anything if you're eating a balanced, varied diet full of fruits, veggies, dark leafy greens, nuts and seeds and getting enough water to drink.
If you constantly think you are deficient you may become deficient. The mind is very powerful over the body. Give yourself to raw and really believe in it, you'll see results in time. Sometimes detox can take a very long time. Mine lasted mainly 2 months but I'm still experiencing little mini-detox every few days and my detox was hellish, so a week or so really isn't that long. I know it isn't fun but you can't expect your body to suddenly be all better after years of feeding it the wrong food. It is an important process that needs to take its course.
I hope you feel better soon.

That's not all the symptoms I've had, just the most hard to deal with ones, but I hear what you're saying. I am going to go make green smoothies for my husband and I now and keep at this. I have been encouraged in that he is at his lowest weight in several years and his diabetes is at an all time good condition and I am feeling so much lighter and more agile, graceful even, having gone from 143.75 down now to 126.25 so it IS working. Just need to be more patient. The support here from you and others is soooo important to us all. I'm so glad for this site, don't think I could keep doing this without it. :)

Do you drink enough water?
Dehydration will cause that.
Cheers!

I might not have been (haven't been paying as much attention to that as I did while on the SAD b'cuz I felt like fruits/veggies kept me so much more hydrated) but I'm gonna set out the right amount every morning now that you have reminded me so I will drink it through the day! One ounce for every two pounds is what I've read. Those pounds are dwindling though...He he!
