Hi everyone,

I wanted to connect with those of you who mainly eat a fruit-based diet. I have been raw for a little over a month now and am seeing some great results. However, I still get that sleepiness after my meals and I don't like that. I usually begin my day with a green smoothie and then have a big salad for lunch with a live garden burger. I am really intrigued by Dr. Douglas Graham and his wife Rozalind and also by Storm and Jinjee. I know that all of these folks eat mainly fruits and they look to be the epitomies of good health. I'm beginning to exercise more, I power walk a couple of times a day and now I'm going to start doing some strength training exercises.

I am finding that I'm not liking dehydrated foods very much and that the simpler stuff is better. I have tried many different recipes using the dehydrator and can honestly say I haven't much cared for them.

I would really like to hear from you fruit eaters!

Thank you and stay well.

Warmly,

Gaelen

My experience:

-I've eaten nothing but fruit for several years now....and it's been a very natural progression. Now, other things just don't sit well with me.

-I would also add, that I am of the school that one does not eat one's way into heaven! Ha! ha! That is: channeling and being the highest energies you know may give rise to eating all fruit (or some other great lifestyle).........but eating fruit is not going to immediately allow you to channel and anchor higher energies! Ha! ha! (this is just my experience).

-On the practical side: My habit is to have fresh Orange Juice in the morning......then eat one kind of fruit until I'm full....about every 2 or 3 hours......during daylight hours.

-If I can offer you any support or experiences.....I am happy to do so. You might also want to talk to the Fruitarianone. He's got his own fruitarian fitness forum.

-I personally don't prefer the term fruitarian. I kind of like Fruitopian!...or maybe.......VEGETARIAN TO THE EXTREME!!!!!! LOL.

Some of us have started a separate thread here under 8-1-1 recipe ideas and following 80-10-10.....which is what Douglas Graham teaches and follows and is primarily fruit based....you might want to check those threads out?

Hi there,

I eat mostly fruit and love this way of eating for various reasons. It is so much easier and simpler. I feel the best physically and mentally and emotionally eating this way. I'm happier and have more energy. I don't have to worry about what to bring with me anywhere, a lot of fruits are very portable and won't spoil quickly. I definitely noticed a big difference in how I felt when I transitioned to a much more simple diet with less recipes and blending, etc.

All the best,

Audrey
