Today i got some organic figs from trader joes,I got a pound for 2.99 which seemed like a good price but i really want a recipe to make something out of them anybody care to share a fig recipe? Thanks

I can't give you a fig recipe - because I have never been able to keep fresh figs in proximity for more than a few hours. :D

I have mashed them in a bowl and used as a spread, the Adriatic ones taste like strawberry jam :) I have added them to yummy smoothies, figs and blueberries or blackberries or raspberries --- so good :p

I also love them smushed on top a great spinach salad.. like spinach strawberries blueberries with a cashew-lime-y type of dressing. Again, YUM~

Whatever you do with those figs... enjoy!

huh, they are so good they never make it into a recipe

but i would say you could puree them into a cashew or macadamia nut to make a cookie batter and dehyrate them add dates if needed raw coconut, almost anything

so many possibilities once the batter tastes great.

when i get off my fast if i can get some good figs ill experiment and let you know.

but ill need about 5 lbs, 1 to work with and 4 lbs. to eat while creating
