So today I decided to try this health food store in north park (san diego)...it's called rancho's..anyways they had ALL kinds of raw stuff!! They even had a deli with pre maid raw foods ie--lasagna, pasta, deserts, etc. So I had a raw burger and some "chocolate raw mouse cake"....it was sooooo good! I can't believe the things they can do with raw food. I kinda over ate though and now i'm still stuffed. But it was pretty expensive. So any one in the san diego area should definately check this place out...they have 3 locations and they also have restaurants... :D

you know what, I thought when i moved out here it would be soo easy to come across raw food places but that's not the case....you really have to search it out...Plus like I said, it's soooo expensive to eat at a raw restaurant!!!!!

Wow Bnananut. Sounds like you did hit the jackpot. I so wish I lived near by. :( Out here is Iowa we have nothing like that. I will have to live vicariously though you.

Um Choc Mousse - I want to visit all the Raw food restaurants that I can find when I travel. Onward! Glad you had that experience.

Wow bnananut - you are so lucky indeed. We have no raw restaurants where I live, and I haven't seen any raw dishes or even many raw ingredients at the health foods stores. It's so frustrating. :( I hope this will change with time.
Enjoy your jackpot! Lucky you! :) :) :)

Go West Raw Fooders!!! -- I think we all need to visit San Diego!
What a great place you've found. I'm happy when I can find Lara bars locally -- but Choc Mousse ... what a treat!!! Enjoy!

Thank you Bnananut!
I will look for those other locations... maybe there is one closer to me than the big city.
I'm so happy for you that you are finding things in San Diego- to me, it is the most beautiful skyline- and being that I am from New Orleans orginally, the city streets remind me of an upscale French Quarter! Enjoy it...
Thanks for the info!
Melissa
PS: They have a site! I just found it-
