2 quick questions

Dates: Are all the dates in the recipes in ALissa's book medjool dates? Or are they the kind that are already pitted?

Sunflower seeds; silly question but...are sunflower seeds & kernels the same thing?

Don't know about the dates, but yes sunflower seeds are also kernels (the kernels are inside the black and silver stripy shell)

Hi,

Alissa's video shows her soaking a couple of different kinds of dates, medjools are bigger, and darker. The honey dates are smaller and lighter, and she had both in a bowl soaking on her video, so I know she uses more than one kind.

She is very easy to talk to, I have emailed her more than once, and she always answered within one day.

All varieties of datse can be pitted; it doesn't have anything to do with the type. The recipes can be made with any type. Have fun uncooking!
