I know there have been alot of people talking about their hair falling out in droves, well I was certainly one of them and thought if this continues like this I'm gonna be bald , I even went as far as cutting my hair alot shorter so I could get a style that made it look fuller. Anyway just to let you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I have noticed this past week that I have about an inch of new hair growth coming through YAY!!!!!!!! I am so excited :D. So I guess all I really wanted to say to others out there going through this, just be patient (however distressing it can be) it does end and you'll have a much healthier head of hair too. Take care

Thanks Karen. I am experiencing the major hairloss right now. My hair still looks alright, and I've been putting raw coconut butter in it every few days and it looks good (after a wash). But it's nice to hear that it will be growing back. :) Go detox, come on healthy!

How long did you lose hair for, and how long did it take to start getting healthy again?

Ditto greenfeline - I want to know also because yes I am experiencing it also. I am also wondering about the lightening of hair and eyes that I have read about on here. Is your new hair a slightly different color? You may not be able to tell that if you are looking at it in the bathroom - you might need sunlight.

Hi guys thanks for replying to my post, yes thank goodness it finally stopped I was really starting to wonder but for me it took quite a few months. I have been raw since Nov 2005 and had about 3 slips along the way and one slip was an on off 2 week SAD food slip. But I would say that it went on for quite a few months not sure when I really noticed it coming out in droves though say 6 months but please don't quote me on that.i only just noticed the new growth this week and not sure why I did but it is about 1 inch long now so still aways to go before I will notice more thickness. As for color change for now I have no idea I will have to keep an eye on that too. I will keep you posted on that. Just hang in there though I know it was soooooo frustrating for me too.
Blessing to you all

Hey, I was having major hair die-off too. Huge handsful were coming out when I shampood, and the bathroom floor would just be covered after I fixed my hair. It stopped falling out/breaking off so much about a month ago and it starting to look really healthy and shiny. I just noticed that I have little one inch or so new grown all along my hairline and part-line. Probably I have them all over, but this is where I can see them. Yippee!! And congrats to you too for regaining some hair. :)

Hi Linda I know wowsers is right thank you!!!!!. How are you?
Rainbow I am so glad that I could give you hope about your hair falling out I know whilst going through this process it can be quite devastating because you have no idea if it will ever end you just wait in hopes and try not to think about it. But it will, it's patience we always hear that just have patience and of course sometimes it is hard for anyone to hear and except. But I had raw faith too. Funny thing was I had kind of stopped thinking about it falling out and then TA DA it's growing back YAYyyyyyyy!!!!!! :D
Blessings to you all
