Firstly - finally my kids love nutmilks...Can't imagine why it took them so long (only couple of weeks really) but you know what made the difference? The *presentation*. I served them in a glass glass (i.e a "grown up glass" not their usual unbreakable plastic beakers) with lots of ice and a nice colourful straw and they slurped them down like nobodies business...hooray! Now they are always asking for a "mikshake". Not sure if I should highlight that they are nutmilks, or just keep serving them without saying anything about what type of milkshake they are...??

Also to say - when I gave up dairy I noticed an immediate improvement in my skin, and now, on about 70% Raw (dinner is still my stumbling block if DH is home..) my gums are healthy again, my teeth whiter (is it 'cos I've stopped drinking tea?) and my fingernails are strong & healthy (no more splitting).

I know I have to get some regular exercise in to make any changes to body shape/weight. (Tho' my BMI is fine, I'm a bit Pear Shaped after the 2 Little Ones...)

Still, am very happy with progress so far...though there's a way to go for all of us...

that's great...the only nutmilk i've tried so far is coconut milk...cause i don't knoe how to use my VitaMix properly...i've sent them an e-mail and the instruction booklet is $12 plus shipping...i don't know if i wanna pay that...i guess i'm just gonna experiment...anyways

hey maybe try blending the milks with banana or carob and raw honey...that'd be cool

MAGIC MILKSHAKES.

my toddler is hooked on morningstar veggie nuggets aka magic nuggets. he says they are the best chicken nuggets he has ever had. he said the same thing about the soy milk i gave him...then rejected it when i told him it was soy. next time i try to pull the fast one on him it will be magic again.

That is great - since I have a 17 year old, I have to find other ways to persuade him to go raw. I have been doing some mommy manupilation. This is a great way to get babies to change their life style.

If you have Alissa's book, try something that is really hardy so that your dh and the babies may enjoy with you.

Caramba, Caramba! That's wonderful. My hubby likes the nut milks too!

Sneaking foods in is a common thing, isn't it? I had a girlfriend who used to blend op broccoli and zuchini in her vitamix so that her children wouldn't "know" they were having their veggies. I say, whatever works! :)

Continued sucess!
