I generally don't like avacadoes on the SAD, but bought them anyway because there are so many things you can do with them on Raw. So they've been sitting in my fridge, five of them, getting a little more mushy, so I thought I better use them. When I found this recipe that calls for four of them:

I thought I'd try it! The Lime makes it sooooooooo yummy! And cilantro adds just the right flavor, onions, garlic - I feel like I've eaten mexican or something. For the lime juice, I didn't want to pull out my juicer so I used a garlic mincer, LOL! I cut up the lime in chunks that would fit and squeezed the juice out 'til it was dry, chucked that piece, then started over. Very "limey" tasting which is so refreshing on a hot day! :D

I cut up some carrot sticks, celery sticks, and cucumber sticks and am halfway through my plate of veggies and now I'm getting full. I'm saying noooooooooooo I want to eat more, LOL!

I'll bag them up and eat them later, but this is very good. I'm going to have my husband try it, even though he'll probably just want to use plain 'ol tortilla chips, LOL.

I'll second that yum. I have always loved guacamole. I sometimes go to another place :) when I am enjoying it.

You are! :D This recipe is pretty close to the way I make my guac.

It's great plopped on a salad instead of dressing.

The very name preceded the arrival of the Spanish in Mexico. Ahuacamolli is from ahuacatl (avocado) and molli (sauce).

Can you translate two teslas (?) of onion into grams? I don't know how to measure onions by magnetism  Also how big are the avocados? What variety? I think Hass is about 200 g, but I bought some Florida avos which are 490.
