View Full Version : Not even 100% raw (yet) - and I could feel it!

Like my title says, I'm not 100% raw (yet), but this week I've been dabbling with increasing my raw foods. I've been pretty much focusing on eating 4 x per day (every 3hrs), and eating the raw foods mono. I have been eating some cooked foods.

So basically the week was like:
Mon - no schedule (just eating whatever I wanted, whenever)
Tue - 4 meals, each at least 50% raw (and the raw foods were mono, so an example would be 3 bananas and half a bar of chocolate)
Wed - 4 meals, again, 2 of them totally raw (and mono) and the other two at least 50% raw (and again, the raw part was mono)
Thu - I ate some raw foods, but it was mostly like Monday (mostly cooked and unscheduled).

Wow, I could fee such a huge difference yesterday. Felt totally sluggish. And I was noticing on Thursday morning (before eating anything) that my skin was looking better. Just couldn't believe how different (worse!) I felt when I ate mostly cooked foods again.

Interestingly, on Wednesday I felt that I would have been happy eating totally raw all day. I've no idea why I didn't - I think I like to test myself. But really, this week has been interesting to learn more about raw.

I'm going shopping in a bit to stock up on fresh fruit and veg for the weekend :D

Maybe it is time for you to take the 30 day challange. You never know until you try.

Definitely. The plan is to start tomorrow (just before the end of the week!!).

Just couldn't believe the difference.
