Feel A Bit Silly Asking This But , Would Any Body Know Where I Could See A Picture Of Oat Groats, Buckwheat, Wheat Berries .... Its Just That Sometimes Here In Ireland Things Are Called By A Different Name And When I Go To My Healthfood Store He Looks At Me Like I Have An Extra Eyebrow!
They Have Buckets Of Oats That Look Very Much Like What You Would See In A Bag Of Porridge But I Doubt If They Are Raw, Well I Have Never Seen Pictures Of Above So I Cant Be Sure.
Sorry Bout The Silly Question But I Would Love To Make Some Of Alissa Recipies On Breads And Burger Buns And I Dont Know What The Ingredients Even Look Like!!!
Thanks Guys!!!!!

Yahoo is your friend!

Now this next one you have to scroll down and search a bit given that there was a child actor they called "Buckwheat" and apparently it is also the name of a cat.

But I do know what you mean by the different names. Here in the US, the term porridge is not one you often hear.

I buy buckwheat in the health store and that is what it is called. I gave the pack that I had to my sister yesterday so can not remember the brand but think that it is from Munster Wholefoods.
I buy Organic Wheat Grain which I assume is Wheat Berries. The pack that I have now is labelled Rainbow Wholefoods. I have sprouted it, but for the past while I only use it to remineralise my distilled water.
I have always assumed that when they talk of Oat Groats that they are refferring to Oatmeal or what we call Porridge but have not used it since going raw. They talk of Steel Cut Oat Groats but I think that that is because the usual processing generates heat.

I am interested in the comment you made here about remineralizing :)

Can you elaborate or send me any site that talk about this?

Thanks

It was a suggestion that I read in a book by the sproutman. He suggests a few grains of rice or wheat be added to the water and it helps to remineralise. I can not garantee that it works but I have no reason to doubt him as he makes a lot of sense in the other things that he writes.
