Corn

If a recipe calls for 4 ears of corn does anyone know about how many cups that is? I guess I can just get 4 ears of corn & figure it out..but if anyone knows??

One medium ear of corn yields approximately 3/4 cup of corn (some said 1 cup, some said 1/2 cup...so it probably depends on the size of the cob).
