Hi, I am making almond milk but it seems to separate after about 3 days in the fridge. I usually make about 1/2 liter at a time since my husband and I only drink it in the AM with our dehydrated buckwheat cereal. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep it for longer? Does it freeze well? I don't have a lot of time for food prep so making it in smaller batches really isn't realistic for my lifestyle. any advice appreciated.
Thanks so much,
tlb

I try not to keep it more than 3-4 days. But even when it seperates, just shake it up (I keep mine in a tightly closed mason jar) and that's what I do.

I have frozen nut milk in ice trays, removed the trays to a ziploc bag and stored that way and it works fine and you can also use the cubes in smoothies or shakes or ice cream too.

I agree with Rawkie, I just keep mine for one or two days, I use it up sooooo fast, and I just always have a bowl of almonds soaking on the counter, LOL

I just shake mine up and use it, yummy!!!!!!

I just left a whisk in the pitcher, then before each use I'd give it a little whisk, never had any problem. :)

I agree with above, or you could just start halving the recipe. :)

I cheat and just make the instant almond milk with raw almond butter blended with water. It's much faster.
