I just thought I'd check - I'm hoping & waiting for the burst of energy that comes from being 100% raw...haven't gotten there yet. I'm on day 3 and pretty much all day, every day so far I am dead tired. I thought maybe the detox wouldn't be as harsh since I went from a 30-day master cleanse right into being raw. Any thoughts?

This is my second day raw, and i am extremely tired.

It may be just because i'm fasting today, but i am more tired.

Actually, i took a 2 1/2 hour nap today!

Rest helps sooo much. It's very importent when going through the first days of raw, or when fasting. Rest, rest, rest!

I am in wk 6 and I spend the first two weeks sleep walking ; however saying this I found I was also dehydrated too. So having a lot of water helped.

I will pass though as you detox you will get tired spells now & then.

Seriously if you are that tired, go to sleep!

Your body is likely crying out for rest so it can repair some issues going on in there.

Don't ignore it, eat light and sleep tight!

When I started, I found that when I was extremely tired it was a new signal for hunger. I felt better when I ate. We are all simulair but different in our detox....Hope you feel better soon......

Body needs repair

I wouldn't feel in the slightest bit bad about sleeping a lot.
Snooze till you can't snooze no more :)

During this transition you need to take EXTRA good care of yourself. Extra showers or baths to wash away the toxins and relax the body.

Lots of lovely water

Give your body the energy it needs to transition to new food and to throw off the junk. Sleep is the ticket! ;)

After all, aren't you walking a new path in eating? Your body needs to learn new stuff too :)

Okay, that's good to know then! My face is also breaking out ALOT - I've always had pretty clear skin. I love this forum because I know I'm not alone - this is totally normal and it WILL clear up, just have patience. =)

The same is happening to me. My skin has always been fairly clear unless I'm under stress and my entire jawline is covered in cystic acne :(

Going to the bathroom non-stop for the first week was one thing... but, detox is taking cheap shots going for the face now :p
