Hi everyone,

I just wanted to tell you about a really handy gadget that I bought quite recently, which is GREAT for single people like myself. It's called the "Magic Bullet" and it acts like a mini-food processor. Everyday I make great fresh dressings, dips and other concoctions with this processor. I love it that I don't have to make up a lot at once, like you have to do with a larger food-processor (since you need quite a bit in the big processors to cover the blades). I also love that it's dishwasher safe and really easy to use.

Anyway, just thought I'd tell you about this because it has helped me so much.

Lisa :)

I thought the magic bullet was supposed to work more like a blender, for making single-sized smoothies?

Oh, I'm so glad this wasn't another adult topic thread. I don't think I could take another.

Yes I have the Magic Bullet. It is great. I use the flat blade for grinding nuts and seeds (dh uses it for coffee beans) and I also make sauces and dressings.

I love how it is so inconspicous.

I love my Magic Bullet. The juicer attachment leaves much to be desired, but everything else is wonderful. I used to avoid recipes that called for pureeing anything because it was a hassle to wash the big blender. The bullet is quick and easy. I was leery of the price tag but it was well worth it.

I've been thinking of buying the 'Magic Bullet' but wondered if it would work well for the raw food recipes. Thanks for telling us about how well it works for you. I think will buy one.

I was debating getting an electric coffee grinder for grinding nuts and cacao.... I'm going to have to check this out.

Well Cinnamon pull that puppy out of there. You are gong to love it!

I don't use all the other attachements either. Just the cups and the 2 different blades. I've heard the juicer doesn't work very well anyway.
