Hello everyone
My name is Oceana. I have been gone for quite awhile.
Loads have happened since I last posted. My sister had a baby 3 months too earily; I had a parent die, and I
have beed on a spyral of eatting emotions. I have binged to the
point I make myself sick. Just feeding myself with junk.
I have been put on
the atkins diet by my doctor. Which I have NOT completed more than
one day. It really just makes me sick.
At times I feel hopelessly fat and unheathly. Since I left this site
my heath has gone down hill. My period has tuened into a once a month flood.
I am tired all the time. I am depressed. I feel unattractive. I have NO energy.
I can really go on and on.
Anywyas I am back and plan to stay on track to get my self
in better health. Unfortunatly my kitchen is not raw ready; but I will have to go slow with what
I do have to make it last until payday.
Well thanks for listening to my rambling...

I haven't been a part of this forum for all that long, so I don't know if I was here back when you were around, but I am very glad you are back and motivated to start again with raw. Raw fresh food will always be here waiting for you saying "eat me, eat me".

I am so sorry you have gone through so much. I will continually send warmth, love, and encouraging positive energy your way!

**(((puts my arm around you and hugs you tight)))**

I'm so sorry at the loss of your parent. I have lost one and there are really no words other than to honor their memory by caring for yourself as they would want you to.

I hope that your Sister's baby is thriving and doing well.

You made the right choice to come back and look for support here. I have never been disapointed at the information I have found and the kind words and uplifting commentary.

Start with one step, one hour then one day, start the journey and take one day at a time. Stop in often and listen to others falls and triumphs. They fuel the journey and the resolve to live raw.

I have lots of weight to lose, but more than anything, I am regaining my self esteem and my health and that is #1 in my book.

So glad you have worked your way back and if I were you?
DUMP Atkins in the potty and go back to Raw :)

Just my very humble opinion. 60 days Raw today :)

I know you can do this. Take it a day at a time, even a minute at a time if you need to. I'm sorry for your loss. How is the baby doing? I was born a little over 3 months early as well.

Glad you are back. We are all in this together. We have to hold each other up when we are weak. I am so glad you ran back to us.

Your heart is hurting and you ran to an old friend(sad) who was never true. Time is a healer of all things. Parents can never be replaced but you can find comfort in others. Take is slow and you RAWK>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It's tough when a parent dies, it really takes a while to find balance after that. My mother died two and a half years ago. I understand stress eating too, my daughter is getting ready to go to college this week, my son will be leaving for Iraq shortly thereafter. Blessings as you go through the healing process, and tons of support coming from my side of the screen.

As for your doctor, find a new one quickly, Atkins is the most unhealthy way to lose weight, Dr. John McDougall compares it to losing weight by having cancer. You lose wieight either way, but not because your body is getting what it wants and needs. I can't believe any doctor would advocate that plan, if he does, he has little to no training in nutrition.

Blessings,

Deborah
