I know kids under a certain age cannot have honey, but can they have bee pollen.

I wanted to include bee pollen in a smoothie and wasn't sure if it was okay for a 9 month old.

does anyone know?

Thanks for your input in advance!!

Hmm, I'm not sure. I did a half-assed search but didn't find anything. I'd probably avoid it until I found out. Bee pollen also isn't vegan, if you're striving to be vegan/raw vegan.

I wouldn't chance it without knowing for sure. Maybe call up a local doctor and see if they would tell you over the phone.

I was taking a little bee pollen every day while I was nursing. It's a great energizer. But my baby also was VERY energetic, and slept alot less than normal(he would wake up every night between 2&4 am!!). When I stopped taking the bee pollen he slept normally again.
Every kid is different, but take caution.
