I have a question about Rome. Have you been to the other health food stores there? I've been to Purple Mountain and the owner was really nice and helpful! But there are a few others. Like the Cherokee Herb shop and some other places. Do you know anything about them? I like to know what store I'm walking into, if you know what I mean! They said there are holistic docs there...so yeah, want to check it out. Have you ever been to one in Rome?

Thanks,

Mary

thanks for bumping up Doe!

I have been to one is Calhoun, I have been to some in Cartersville, and I have been to the one you mentioned the Purple Mountain, but have never been to any others in Rome. Sorry. I sae that the purple mountain is no longer there accross from Checkers. Have they moved. If so where? I really would like to visit them. I assumed they went out of business. I was sooo disappointed.

I used to live in Rome, back in late 1996. You're giving me crazy flashbacks. My ex-husband went to Berry College. My sister-in-law (at the time) ran the poolhall/tavern down on the main strip... Billiards something? Cues something? Can't remember...

I moved to Atlanta, got married in Decatur and left Georgia in early '98 for Portland, OR. Rome was a really nice town.

If you go down Turner McCall from Berry area/Floyd hospital and turn right on Broad Street...it's across from some large building, maybe a government building? And it's on the right, like you'll see it!

And yet, I go to Berry. I love the campus...don't like the music department so much, but the campus and DEER!!!!!! :D
