Hi,

Heading to PA this weekend and did my usual travel search on Happy Cow and found this great looking Raw food cafe called Arnolds way ! They even have a free breakfast and lecture on raw foods on Saturday mornings!
Wondering if anyone has been to this place?

I too have heard of this place, but haven't got there yet. It is on my rawlist of things to do SOON!

I think on the last sat of the month they have a demonstration and breakfast or something like that. I wanted to go last month but i missed it because I was scheduled to work and my hours were cancelled, so I didn't get to register before hand.

I have a friend who went and said it is very good. The one time he went he said he had a raw cheezesteak.

If you get to go before I do, leave a post and let me know how your outing was. I will do the same.

I went there.
It was ok. Don't get olives on your food, as the ones her serves with the meals are not raw. He sells raw ones but does not use raw in the meals.

I asked was it raw- they said yes and then later he confirmed that they were not! He did not seem concerned in th eleast. I was kinda po'd because it messed up my 30 days raw!

Otherwise, it was ok. The place is pretty quaint- for lack of a better term..

Hi, We are headed out that way for one of my son's sports game and usually there is nothing to eat for us! So I will take what I can get !! The website for this place is www.arnoldsway.com and I did notice he uses olives in almost everything..I totally dislike olives :p and was planning on making it very clear I do not want olives in my food so thanks for the reminder!

I will definately post results!

Just following up here as promised, went to Arnolds way this morning and plan to go back for breakfast again tomorrow. It is a small and could use some organizing but packed with raw food energy, great books and lots of raw menu items to choose from. My family just had green drinks and smoothies but they were great! If you are traveling in this area it is worth the stop for lunch or green drink. Arnolds himself works the counter and is very energetic and dedicated raw foodist.

I live ten minutes from Arnolds Way and go right past it all the time- but I've only been there once bacause they arn't open as late as I am in Lansdale! They have an awsome selection of books, it is actualy going there that I was introduced to raw foods, and it hit me that was how I needed to live- because it made complete sense. I havn't eaten any of their food, but I would love to go to one of their lectures or demonstartions, maybe soon, as I need a little pic-me-up in the variety I have been eating lately, being very busy. Yes, it is a lot packed into one little store, but they have some realy cool things there!

I was there in June, didn't eat anything there as I was still full from my smoothie, but I did enjoy the selection of books and got Alyssa's dvd there and Victoria Boutenko's 12 steps to Raw Food, found some raw sheets of nori which I can't find in my area, also broccoli sprouts so I was happy. A family came in while I was there and had ordered pizza and honestly, it didn't look that good to me but they seemed to really enjoy it so it must have tasted good. Personally, I think the place could use a women's touch but that is just my opinion.......and I do intend going back some time.

Yes it could definately use a little something but when your traveling, hungry and are surrounded by SAD restaraurants it seems like a palace! I to wish his hours were better, I would have liked to go there for dinner.

Headed to Westechester PA in 2 weeks, anyone know of anyplace out that way?
