When I was little I had white blond hair which turned to golden blond hair with streaks of every other color lightly throughout it. It was soft, silky, and lovely. Since I was like 12-13 my hair has become horribly frizzy and has darkened tremendously (to brown basically). Well, I just noticed I have a new layer of hair growing over my other hair (which is falling out). This layer is much blonder and nicer!! I am so happy, I love being a blonde. Of course, it could just be because of the sun or something, but it looks blonde to the root and this new layer of hair is about 4 or 5 inches long. It looks sort of funny right now lol. My mom was like WOW your hair is much much lighter, she thought I tried to dye it and messed it up lol.
I hope it really is growing in lighter and nicer!! Could this have anything to do with raw?

I think it does have to do with raw! I was just reading the eye thread and some mentioned that their hair and eyes were both returning to their original color! I think mine is getting a little lighter and not from the sun because well, i'm never outside haha. I think your hair falling out had to do with the ED as well as detoxing :)

Cool! I think my hair is a little better in texture & grows faster since becoming raw. I'm hoping it keeps improving as I have challenging hair.

When I changed my daughter's diet due to food allergies, she started getting new hair. She had precious little hair when she was born and what was there looked black. That was eventually replaced by clear fuzz and that stayed there until she was about 18 months. I feared she'd never have hair! When the hair finally came in, it was dark blonde, stick straight and very sparse. She wanted long hair, but she had so little hair it just looked stringy. So I had it cut chin length until we moved and changed dance studios. The studio she is at now requires a proper ballet bun so that meant growing it out. We had to grow out her bangs too because bangs are not allowed and have to be clipped back or sprayed or whatever it takes to get them off the face.
So by the time of recital, her hair was grown out long enough to do the bun and mostly one length. But then we discovered the food allergies. Within two weeks of changing her diet, new hair started coming in. And more new hair still! Her hair is still fine, and the old straight hair is there, but the new hair is coming in curly to wavy. She now has the thick, full hair that a Leo like herself should have! It is getting darker though. It's now sort of a light brown, dark blonde with blonder streaks.
My own hair is becoming lighter again. At first I thought it was from coloring it. I do color it, but don't usually do my whole head. I will stand there with a paint brush and carefully seek out the gray ones to color them and only them. Hehe. But as I aged, I noticed that my hair was taking on an unwanted reddish hue. My hair had been very much like my daughter's in color, but wavy. Now it is getting lighter. More blonde than brown and I can tell it's not from the hair color because the roots are light too.
