When you soak nuts, they leave a brownish color depending on the nut in the soaking water, what is it?
Does anyone have any idea?
Thank you for you help!

Yep, it's tannins, you can use it to dye stuff if you like, just like tea.
or I just toss on my veggies, I always reuse water if possible, nothing goes down the drain, if it doesn't have to. LOL

I'll bet it's great to water the plants with.

It's also possible it would kill your plants because almonds are a little high in the healthy form of cyanide that helps fight cancer. Might be a little acidic for them too.
