Eye color

I am curious..has anyone had their eyes change colors since going raw? I noticed mine are turning more green, but nothing really significant.

Same. Mine were dark brown and now they're turning more amber color? Just a little bit, but still...it's a change lol. Sometimes they have green flecks in them itseems.

Hey there was an excellent thread not long ago on this I thought you may enjoy reading. I haven't really seen any changes in my eyes except they just seem more brighter. I have deep brown eyes.

wow, that was very interesting LayLay! I guess I will have to wait and see if mine change..I have always wanted blue eyes..my Daddy had blue eyes. I have noticed they are alot clearer and brighter though, so that is great! ;)

I have heard of even Brown eyes turning blue..the guy at the healfood store actuall. Pretty cool!

I've heard the issue about the eyes is that ppl are getting their ORIGINAL eye color back.

I use to look at all my toddler photos & wonder what the heck happened to my black hair & blue eyes.

When I 1st started raw, everything started changing. My hair got darker & my eyes immediately came back to blue.

Although my hair is NOT black, I think it's coming together anyways. It's got energy issues since I've had a thin silver streak since an early age of 22 that I cover up so far very well (haha)

We shall see.

I posted some pictures of my eyes(I need to find the link, it is on the other part of the forum in here(about health topics, I think) and since I got them done by photographer friend, they are so enlarged, that you can actually see they are blue with some orange-yellow stuff on the top, which makes them look hazel! My husband says they are getting more and more blue. I will have pictures taken every half year and we will see, how they change.

WHOA - My eyes have changed! They used to be all the way green/hazel and now they look a lighter hazel from far away. But if you look closer the outer part is grey and around the pupil it's brown! I've always wondered about everything going back to my original too! I was born with blonde hair and blue eyes and since I've been raw my eyes seem to be going in the right direction and my hair is growing in with more blonde hairs! Yeah!

My eyes now have a dark green ring around the outside of the iris and the middle portion is a clearer blue/green. I'm not sure how to describe it other than they look "cleaner" which I assume is a result of detox. No matter what is causing it I take it as a sign that good things are going on inside. :)

My eyes actually changed SHAPE at two months. Before even if I went without foundation I always had on mascara, but then my eye shape changed and I loved the new shape that I loved going without ANY make up. I thought I NEVER would go without makeup.

My sister even noticed the change.

That is so cool to hear all of the different changes, one thing I noticed about my eyes were that now they have this really dark defined ring around the outer of my pupils, then they are completely green on the outside then brown inside...they stand out more now..so I can't wait to see the changes later on! :)

Actually the dark ring around in Iridology is not a very good sign(it shows that your skin has trouble shedding toxins, so you should use dry brush to lightly brush your skin to help), but I noticed that everyone has it.
What about the moons on your finger nails? My defintely now on all fingers, but pinky ones are still hardly out on the nail.

I had no idea, greeninlosangeles, I can try to use a loofah then, I grow my own so I have plenty I need to use. I may need to try juicing also, since I have been on raw I haven't done the juicing fast yet, maybe that will speed things along. The moons on my fingers? Do you mean the lines? All of mine are showing, I don't know if that is good or bad?? :confused:

Ya know, i just looked into my eyes and they're a greenish brown with a dark blue ring on the outside...interesting. I wonder waht they'll do next!

wow! they actually changed shape?! I've heard about the possibility of bone structure and such shifting, so what you're saying sounds fascinating.

what shape did they change from/to, if you don't mind me asking :)

I read that the more moons on fingernails show, the healthier person is. I would not call them lines-they are like white half circles at the base of each nail.

Hmmm... I see no flecks whatever in my eyes and yet I know I have medical problems. Can't tell if they've changed colors because they tend to change colors depending on what I'm wearing and my mood.

Yes, it is great!
The flecks in the eyes are not that easy to see without magnification. If you can have your close up photos taken in good quality, you probably would. See, I am trying to figure that thing out myself, that's why, I will repeat my photos every half year.

Okay, I could go for my original hair color. I had blondish white hair. It began to change when I was about 5 years old. I colored my hair from like third grade until I was 18 because it turned such an ugly color. Now its not sooo bad. My hair has been falling out for weeks now. This past week my hair is very wirery. I assume it has something to do with detox, but I don't like it, LOL. Its all worth it if I get that baby blonde hair back.

Sorry I don't have any "before" pictures, but here is my current eye color. Before raw it was a deep brown and became almost black when I was sick.
What color do they look now? To me they're turning greenish, hopefully!
