OK I SHOULD have knocked on wood when I printed that I had not suffered from any detox during my 30 day challenge!
I just assumed I was sick until it occured to me it might have been "detox".
The past two weeks I have had wicked gas & bloating; So yesterday I started the morning with little appetite and developed a low-grade headache in th a.m. (I have a history of migraine so this did not raise a flag). Through out the day I ate very little, some spinach & strawberries.
I returned home at 6pm thew the kids in bed followed by myself into bed. By this time the headache was BAD. I then flew OUT of bed and into the loo where I had the MOST explosive (sorry :o ) diarria I have ever had! (and I have traveled through Africa where I had Giardia!!)
It was such a major clear out I awoke to a 2.5lb loss! The funny thing is today I feel the BEST I have felt since I started 100% 32 days ago!!
Thanks everyone for your thoughts! :p

Yup yup. Detox can be so lovely sometimes can't it? lol. Glad you're feeling better though. Honestly I'm kinda jealous because I want a huge difference like that from a detox incidenct.

Wowzo! I had a blowout of the intestine, but nothing like that! I told my boss one day that I had to go home because I had borborygmus. So I went home and sat on the toilet and borboryxed some junk out. The next day I was fine.

OK I exaggerate a bit as I did not have the rotten egg stink that goes with Giardia and the protracted squirts. . .it just seemed like a Giardia spell but ALL AT ONCE! LOL!!
POSTERS': Thanks everyone for your helpful words. I thought I would get the responce that "oh, your just sick"! Oh me of little faith - LOL!

When we first go raw, the over 1 kg of bacteria (around 100 trillion) that inhabit our gut, consider raw food a completely different food then cooked (which it is, really) and so they must acclamitise to this which causes the unpleasant effects.
There are more bacteria in our guts than we have cells in our entire body.
Probiotics really help

Alex: Thanks, I do take a combo of 1t. of probiotics, 1/2 t. ground phyillium & 1t. ground flax every night as I have yeast issues. But I know at the moment they are fighting a dirty battle!
EmeraldGlow Yes I do wish I were more regular. But I assume this will happen in time :o
