I have been raw for the past two days (yea me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), and the detox has been sporatic and not fun. I was raw for awhile and did really well and felt great, but then I had a rough time where I wasn't raw for about 2 weeks. I felt AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My head was stuffy, my throat was sore, I couldn't sleep well, just gross. So, I knew that the way I was eating was traumatizing my body. I don't know why it was so hard for me to get back to the raw lifestyle. Anyway, after a couple of weeks of feeling like crap, I finally came to my senses and went raw again. Yesterday, I had a headache for about 4 hours. That went away, but my workout at the gym wasn't great. I didn't do a horrible amount of cardio, but I was sweating like a pig. Usually, I can do about 5 miles of running and be ok. The headache went away and then I woke up this morning with another raging headache. Crazy. I went to work and then about an hour before I left, the headache the went away. Crazy. So then I went to the gym and my workout wasn't great again, but at least the headache was gone. It is now later and I feel a lot better. I hope this detox stuff is over for now. Usually, the headache thing is the only thing I deal with in the detox department, so I'm hoping I am in the clear. What I have gone through in the past couple of weeks, mentally and physically with eating crappy SAD food. So I am happy to be raw again. :)

So glad you are raw too!!!! I'm so sorry you have been feeling bad, but I am sooo happy that you are getting those nasty toxins out. Congrats!

I always experience the same thing with detox,, the dreaded headache!!

But wow,, how great the next day feels:) Always a reminder that I DO NOT want to go off raw again cause those headaches are just terrible.

Good for you!! Now your workouts will be so much more fullfilling!!

You will feel better again soon! Eat as simply as you can and rest as much as you can in the meantime. Congratulations for getting back on track!

All the best,
