I'm looking for a recipe for a chocolate sauce (like for over banana ice cream) using cacao nibs instead of carob...anyone have a good one?

hmmmm....I don't have a recipe, but I was thinking some cacao and a avocado, and some kava in the blender would maybe just maybe work.

There is something in the threads about a banana split with a cacao sauce.

This is faith4u's recipe!! Not mine!!! You can substitute with cacao...

"I made a carob sauce to put over it. I soaked some dates and then blended them with carob, a little vanilla and a little bit of stevia."

Thanks! I wasn't sure if I'd need to add some sweetener or something to the cacao...off to try it!

Yeah, definately needs to be sweetened!
