I'm going through terrible detox -- bad breath, light-headedness, feeling fatigue, etc.... I need to sleep a lot & can barely exercise w/o running out of breath rather quickly!
It may not be detox? I've just completed a water only fast a few days ago. I ate grapes for 3 days, & today I'm munching on carrots. As for drinks, I squeeze a slice of lime into a tall glass of water.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to survive through this? I'm feeling way too ill! :(

Just go with the flow. If your body isn't up to exercising listen to it and take a nap instead. You need all your energy to focus on healing. One word of advice...don't think "if I eat x (cooked item) it'll go away and I'll feel better." That'll just stop the detox, yes, but it'll put it on hold and you'll have to go through this again. Just keep eating watery foods and drink a lot of water to help the detox process!

dream - I did think eatting will probably take the feeling immediately away. But like you said, I would just have to go through it all over again! :D You're completely right. Once I get home, I'll just going to take a bath & jump into bed right away. :o Oh. I HAVE to get some water fruits, too!

Take REALLY good care of yourself and sleep and rest!!
You might be having a healing crisis but never fear, it will pass.
Bathe often, Dry brush your skin and help it release those toxins.
Water is great and keep your fruits simple and eat them mono (all one kind at a time).
Don't stress yourself worrying about your fatigue, your body is healing elsewhere. Try walking, strolling and breathing deeply.. Breathing is VERY important. Slow Deep Breathing.
Take all the hugs you can get, Teddy Bears help too!
Be ever so kind to yourself :) Fresh flowers are a plus too

Embrace it and be thankful that you are releasing toxins.

It will pass, just ignore it as best you can and be glad that these things are finally leaving your body. As long as you are eating a balanced, 100% raw diet, it IS detox. I experienced some horrible things while I was detoxing (Horrible acne, gas, loose stools, moldy taste in my mouth, smelly urine and feces, fatique, sore throat, cough, yeast infection, bleeding gums, stomache ache, hair shedding, cramps, nausea, dizziness etc.) and it all lasted a little over a month for me. Now, I am cured of all those things completely and on my way to perfect health. Just keep eating the way you know you need to and don't take any medications at all and let these things leave your body and allow them to teach you a lesson. Personally, after my detox, I'll never eat cooked again because of what it caused me to hide, pent up in my body.

That's for sure. I'm not 100% yet, but I had my big physical detox this last week with emotional detox ongoing for the last two months. If I ever think I want to bake a lasagna again, I'll remember the 75 or so gallstones I passed earlier this week and I'm sure that impulse will fade pretty fast! Anything that made THAT form inside of my body is not anything I want to eat.
Everyone else has already given good advice about the detox - rest, take care of yourself, and get through it, because you don't want to have to start all over again. :(

Actually, no, I'd been happily OD'ing on non-pasteurized apple cider vinegar since going raw. I didn't know that it was good for passing gallstones until it happened to me. I eat two big green salads a day with 1/2 - 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in each one. I guess two months of that was enough to stimulate the stones to pass. I knew from three different doctors over the past ten years that I had a fatty liver but I'd never been previously diagnosed with gallstones.
When I saw them, my intuition said "gallstones," so I did a couple of hours of online research and saw photos that looked just like mine and I read stories from the CureZone site of people who purposely did flushes. Same as mine, except I didn't know it was going to happen. The site indicated that the color of the stones I passed meant that they originated in the gallbladder as opposed to the liver.
I actually passed some other stuff a couple of weeks ago that I thought was bits of mucoid plaque since it kind of looked like the photos on Shazzie's site...but the description of liver stones on CureZone definitely fit too.
I haven't gone to a doctor - I don't have one after just recently moving to a new city in April - and I don't really trust them to do anything but push pills or surgery anyway. I'm just glad that stuff is out. I'm sure that it was gallstones, even if I'm not sure whether that other ick was liver or colon related. It was obviously not just regular waste.
Sorry to be gross!
