I am looking for a "ranch" salad dressing recipe. Anyone know the ingredients? I am at a loss. I sure like it tho. My whole family does. Please help me out here. I've been reading these threads and you guys are great, very intelligent when it comes to this. thanks for your help

I don't like dressing and am not up on all the flavors and such, but I should think some sort of nut cheese, perhaps thinned down with some olive oil would work. Obviously you'd want to use the cheese in the soft state and not dehydrate it.

I had one recently that had cashews in it, and I think some garlic, olive oil and possibly some apple cider vinegar. It was very good on green salad but it was at a function and I couldn't ask anyone for the recipe.
It was very VERY tasty.

Ranch Dressing
2 lemons, juiced
1 c. macadamia nuts, soaked 8 hours and drained
3 cloves garlic
1/4 sweet onion
4 stalks celery
2 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 TBS dill (fresh is suggested, but use what you have)
1 tsp. thyme (fresh is suggested, but use what you have)
1 c. Rejuvelac or filtered water
1 medjool date, pitted
1/2 c. olive oil (extra virgin is suggested)
Blend all ingredients EXCEPT olive oil in blender and blend well. Slowly add olive oil to blender as it's blending to a creamy consistency.
Creamy Mac Ranch Dressing
1/2-1 full cup raw mac. nuts
1/3 cup r. apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
2/3 cup cold-pressed olive oil
1 tsp salt
Italian seasoning to taste
1/2 TBS sage
DIRECTIONS:
Blend the macs. with 1/4-1/2 cup of water (depending on the thickness desired).
Add the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sea salt, Italian seasoning, and sage.
Blend thoroughly.
Ridiculously-Good Ranch Dressing
1/2 cup tomatoes
1/2 big sweet red bell peppers, or 1 small one
Juice from 1 lime
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (or juice of one more small lime or lemon)
1-2 stalks of celery
1/3 cup fresh dill
4 Tbsp almond butter
Instructions: Blend all ingredients together until smooth

I thanks you very much looks good I'll make as soon as I receive my mac nuts. I have to mail order everything. This place I live has very little to offer..
