I've desided to do something about my weight. I feel like I've been overweight all my life. I would appreicate some feed back on my course of action. I thought I'd start with the "Master Cleanse Diet" while I wait for my book and DVD to come. Does this sound like a good starting point for me to take? Any suggestions or words of wisdom would be greatly appreicated.
Hi Bookworm,
Welcome to the forum! The Master Cleanse is fairly easy to do. I've done it for 10 days and didn't have but one problem (I couldn't get the salt water flush to work). If you run into a simular problem you could use an herbal laxatve like Smooth Move insead. The Master Cleanse Diet is all about detox so expelling waste daily is real important. Lil has done the cleanse also. She may be able to tell you more about it.
When I first started to go raw I did a 7 day juice fast and lost about 20 pounds. A juice fast may be another option for you.

When I went raw I started with a 21 day juice fast. My experience was amazing, and set me up perfectly to go raw with no looking back. I've been raw ever since. I lost 25 pounds on the juice fast, extremely fast, and going raw after kept the weight off.
One note though, there's others here that disagree with fasting as a way to start off on raw, so I invite others to share their viewpoint as well.
I've done two separate 14 day MC's. I would really recommend reading up on it at the curezone.com forums, if you haven't already. It's not a weight loss fast - but a liver and gallbaldder cleanse. You may loose weight on the cleanse, but most likely gain all of it back (and maybe more...) when you start to eat again.
It's really important to have time to do the Cleanse - no committments or involvements. Starting and ending the cleanse are equally important and must be done correctly.
I think the best thing for weight loss is eating well and exercising. Believe me, I know how hard it is to loose weight!.
Are you eating raw now?
