I'm starting 100% raw foods in two days as I come off of the Master Cleanse fast. I would love to have your top two favorite raw recipes of all time - the ones that you LOVE over & over, and/or eat often. :)

It is hard to just pick two recipes!

I'd have to say Alissa's Date Nut Torte and the Pina Colada in the book Raw Food Real World.

Yeah, it is hard to pick two favorites, but I love that pizza and I really haven't tried many of desserts yet. Just can't get it into my head that they are guilt-free! So for now the Angel hair w/marinara and the pizza. Every one I have prepared is yummy. If you don't have Alissa's book - it's a must-have! GET IT! :D

Joyful Mary,

Here it is. I snack on these often. Whenever I bring them to the raw potluck there is never enough!

Nini’s Cheesy Sweet Potato Chips

2 sweet potatoes
1 T. olive oil
1 t. salt
2 T. nutritional yeast
¼ c. nutritional yeast

Peel the sweet potatoes with a vegetable peeler. You will have a bowl of peelings. Add the olive oil, salt and the 2 T. nutritional yeast to the bowl. Mix it together and let it sit for an hour.

Lay the peelings on a teflex sheet and dehydrate until crisp. I like mine really crispy, so I let mine dehydrate for about 15 hours.

When they are finished, put them in a gallon Ziploc bag and add the ¼ c. nutritional yeast and shake!

You can add more salt and other spices if you want to.

Enjoy!

My kids are loving these! They ate a good share of them out of the dehydrator, "checking on them." I had to shoo them off so we could try the finished product with the additional yeast flakes on them. Yumm! This will definately be kept on hand for those munchie times.

We had one Jersey sweet potato (the white one) - we had never had one before. We used that as well as the regular orange ones. That Jersey is outstanding in this recipe. It tastes terrific and makes the chips look much like regular potato chips, too!

Rawpriestess's Brownies are to live for, and my favorite recipes right now are the steak and cheese recipe that rawveganmom posted:

http://p097.ezboard.com/frawforallfrm8.showMessage?topicID=8.topic

I am also in love with this recipe I created:

http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18501

I can't decide which one is better. They are both wonderful.

It might be good to stay away from nuts and heavy dishes the first few days that you break your fast. They usually reccomend fruit to start out with.

I completely agree with you! My top two meals include:
