I am used to eating eggs and toast with butter for breakfast. I know this is not good for me. What can I substitute for breakfast. Thank you.

It is hard to say not knowing what you like to eat. Here's some threads on breakfast foods.

almond milk over raw granola, bananas, raisens, etc I make the granola in the dehydrator from Angel Foods uncook book, but there are other recipes I 'm sure also I alternate with raw oatmeal takes 24 hrs to soak the oat groats but ist worth it, warm it in the dehydrator, put some almond milk, and banans or your choice of fruit. Let me tell you nothing better and it sticks with you til lunch. I love it. First time I tasted it I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. ha its that good.

I eat pumpkin seeds and usually only that. Sometimes a bit of coconut as well. My breakfast is pretty small but it works for me. I have diabetes so I'm not your average bear. If my blood sugar is low enough, I might have a bit of fruit. Usually 1/2 a grapefruit or a few strawberries.
